Overview
《Thalia》 is a two-track single released on 5 February 2025, comprising “for Thalia” and “Thalia.” It preceded Jinwoo’s debut full-length album 《Parnassus》, released on 13 March 2025; its title track appears as the album’s fifth track.
Built from ambient sound and pop melody, the single was inspired by plants emerging through the winter cold during a journey to Kyoto. Within the fictional world of 《Parnassus》—an imagined dialogue between those who seek wisdom and the Muses who answer them—Thalia carries the album’s most dynamic expression of vitality.
Jinwoo composed and produced both tracks. Singer-songwriter SURYEON contributed vocals to “Thalia,” adding an enigmatic presence to the piece. The cover artwork, made with hanji and pastoral imagery, is by Suo.
